1 -13 from the field?

Too bad Baron Davis won't be suiting up for the other team in Los Angeles tonight. He was a huge help to the Jazz last night. With Barron in the game, the Clipps were -17.

BIG GAME TONIGHT.
UPDATE: Looks as if Phil Jackson WILL start and play all of his big guns tonight. "I wouldn't think of sitting players," Jackson told Los Angeles reporters. "I don't think that's the right thing to do when people buy season tickets, special-game tickets and things like that. The league has asked us not to do that, so we have to [respect] that."

Good post Booner. Did you make that poster? I think it would sell well in Oakland. It's amazing how far Davis has fallen since his amazing run in the playoffs a couple years back when he looked like the premier point guard in the league. I guess that's what the Clippers will do to you. Let's hope the Jazz can beat LA's other team tonight so we don't have to face them in the playoffs.

Baron is an A+ point guard in talent and a D- in desire. That one year that he was motivated in Oakland was awesome. As was his contract year with the Hornets.

Predictions on what happens in the next two days? I think we barely edge out the Lakers tonight because they rest their stars but that the Mavs sneak by the Rockets tomorrow.

Even if the Jazz win tonight, and if the Mavs sneak by the Rockets tomorrow, we can still hope that the Hornets lose to San Antonio, which would make the final seeding look like this:

8. New Orleans
7. Utah
6. Dallas

Right?

Phil is a lying piece of crap. I would be surprised to see his starters play major minutes, unless he has watched to the Jazz play lately and wants to play them in the first round, which is not out of the question.

Yes, that's true about the Hornets. And that game is at San Antonio. However, the Spurs are terrible right now so who knows what will happen.

How amazing is it that the Jazz could actually still finish sixth in the West? I feel like we deserve about 11th.
