It's been a tough few weeks for Jazz fans, so let's focus on the one thing that I am celebrating right now; THE SPURS FIRST-ROUND EXIT.
Over the last decade, the Spurs have been a disgusting display of floppage, whineage, and vagisilitis. I couldn't be happier that they were bounced out by Dallas. I hope that this summer Tony Parker tears his groin filming a Subway commercial and Tim Duncan is arrested for possession of Meth and soliciting sex to a male prostitute (a la 'Ted Haggard'). But for now, I am happy with the state of the Spurs.

I'm sad because having the Spurs out in the first round would have been glorious for the Jazz if they had been in that side of the bracket.
Don't count the Spurs out just yet. They have a fantastic salary cap situation, and they are likely going to sign Rasheed to a short, cheap deal next year. They could make one more run.
I always knew you were a closet San Antonio fan, Crotty. Let me guess -- you love Riverwalks and think Tony Parker has a delightful French accent.
Unbelievable.
I just don't have an irrational hatred towards the Spurs just because they absolutely own the Jazz. Also, they give hope to small-market teams everywhere.
And I do enjoy a nice riverwalk now and again.
Is a river walk like a river dance? If so, count me in. I too fear we have not seen the complete demise of the Spurs, but one can always hope.
Riverwalks are actually more like skinwalkers, but slightly less scary and with a more confined geographical range (i.e. I think San Antonio is the only city in the world with one).
I would prefer that we don't joke about Skinwalkers on this on-line venue. Why set ourselves up for something really disastrous?
