Heating Up

When the Jazz are healthy and playing at home, they’re pretty lethal. The Suns found out

· CJ Miles hit for 21 points on 9-13 shooting, his best performance of the season. He had 15 points in the first quarter alone. With some confidence and PT, perhaps he can give us consistent production.

· Boozer recorded his 6th double-double of the season. He tallied 21 points and 15 rebounds against the Suns.

· AK47 had a stellar night against the Suns, producing a stat-line of 19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 crucial blocks on Shaq during the 4th quarter rally.

· Brevin Knight led the charge with 12 points and 6 assists in only 21 minutes. He’s proving to be a key contributor off the bench for the Jazz.

· Collins played 13 minutes and had 2 fouls… nothing else. Lethal!

· The Jazz scored the most points in a game (109), so far, in this young season.

The problem with Miles is that he can't seem to get it going night in and night out. He's had three years and as many opportunities as anyone (certainly as many as Brewer, Harp, Korver, etc.) and just can't seem to nail it down. It worries me.

I can't rationally discuss Collins. Sloan said in today's paper that he deserved a "pat on the back" for making things "hard on Shaq." Unreal. How about only giving pats on the back for actually scoring a bucket or grabbing a board.

We are lucky to have Collins. I don't think there is another player in the league that could play 13 minutes without recording a point, rebound, block or steal. Let's hope for several more "quadruple bagles" as the season progresses.

"He’s proving to be a key contributor off the bench for the Jazz" who does this NOT apply to...aside from Harpring? Solid bench play all season aside from the Washington game

When we traded for Knight, did you expect him to play as well as he's playing? We got him for Hart, who sucked and never played. The fact that Knight puts in quality minutes and stats is absolutely HUGE for us. Our bench play is the reason we win games.
